In 2030 6G will launch commercially, picking up the baton from 5G and ushering in a new immersive era. With world class research and initiatives from Nokia leading the charge on setting the 6G vision for industry bodies, the time had come to start communicating a tangible roadmap out to their wider customer base.

We crafted a campaign that saw Nokia Bell Labs dominate the thought leadership space coming #1 on Google for keyword searches “6G technologies” and ” what is 6G”. Creating a resource-packed microsite that accounted for a third of bell-labs.com’s total pageviews on launch. Bringing in 40k total unique pageviews, and a further 20k new users as it continued to be the top source of online traffic to the site.

The microsite and accompanying e-book told the story of each Nokia Bell Labs’ 6G pillars. Bringing together external expert blogs that were commissioned specifically for the launch with explainer animations and acting as a hub for existing resources. Retelling the technical messaging through vivid metaphors so that the most compelling benefits could be easily understood by a non-technical audience. The e-book racked up 7k downloads, becoming the top download in bell-labs.com history. While the animations were utilised as standalone social assets to drive traffic to the microsite and achieved 143k impressions.
